The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XSDBX-A3SQ or 489XSDBXA3SQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on manual transmissions from Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, Tremec, and others. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the need for an adapter plate, removing a potential leak path and cutting installation time. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Output is via a 1-1/4″ round shaft (keyway option available). Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), matching the 442 Series rating.
