Description
The Chelsea 282 Series PTO Assembly, part number 282XDAJX-V3RK or 282XDAJXV3RK, is a medium-duty hot-shift power take-off built for demanding mobile applications including aerial, construction, towing and recovery, water trucks, and fuel oil delivery. It mounts via an 8-bolt pattern and is compatible with Allison, Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other transmission manufacturers. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft accepts a 5/16″ key. Shift is pneumatic or PowerShift (pneumatic/hydraulic). The 282 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 300 lb-ft (407 Nm), with intermittent torque in the 201-300 lb-ft (401-500 Nm) range. Shaft power is rated at 29 HP at 500 RPM and 57 HP at 1,000 RPM. Available with a Wet-Spline option for extended PTO and pump shaft life. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
