Description
The Chelsea 489GRAHX-V5XD or 489GRAHXV5XD is a Power Take-Off unit from the Chelsea 489 Series, designed for manual transmissions with an 8-bolt PTO mounting aperture. The integral one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. Compatible transmissions include Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The 489 Series carries an intermittent torque rating of 201 to 300 lb-ft and delivers up to 46 to 55 HP output. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The output shaft is a round 1-1/4″ keyed shaft. Strong tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load-bearing capability.
