Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XAAHX-W3XQ or 489XAAHXW3XQ, mounts directly to an 8-bolt transmission opening on most manual transmissions including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec applications. Its one-piece cast iron housing eliminates the adapter plate that other designs require, cutting potential leak paths and reducing installation time. Intermittent torque capacity for the 489 Series is 201-300 lb-ft (301-400 Nm), with a nominal 250 lb-ft rating. Shaft power output runs 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. The output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round configuration with key. Shift is wire/cable mechanical.
