Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 489XFITX-A5RB or 489XFITXA5RB, is a wire/cable mechanical shift PTO built on an 8-bolt mounting pattern that fits directly to most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Mack, and Tremec without an adapter plate. The one-piece cast iron housing delivers 250 lb-ft intermittent torque and 46-55 HP output power, matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. Output shaft is a 1-1/4″ round with keyway. Tapered bearings replace needle bearings for greater load capacity. The kit-style design shares internal parts with the 442 Series, simplifying service.
