Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XLAHX-Y3XD or 489XLAHXY3XD, is an 8-bolt PTO designed to mount directly to manual transmissions with an 8-bolt aperture, including Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and Tremec units, with no adapter plate required. The one-piece cast iron housing eliminates a common leak path that adapter-plate designs introduce. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft (with key) delivers up to 250 lb-ft intermittent torque, matching the torque capacity of the Chelsea 442 Series. Shaft power is rated at 24 HP at 500 RPM and 48 HP at 1,000 RPM. Internal parts are interchangeable with the 442 Series, simplifying service. Call us to confirm proper fit for your application.
