Description
The Chelsea 489 Series Power Take-Off, part number 489XQITX-A3GB or 489XQITXA3GB, is an 8-bolt mechanical shift PTO designed for most manual transmissions including Eaton Fuller, Eaton Endurant, Mack, and Tremec. The integral 8-bolt one-piece cast iron housing bolts directly to the transmission opening, eliminating the need for an adapter plate and reducing potential leak paths. The 489 Series delivers an intermittent torque rating of 201-300 lb-ft and output power of 46-55 HP, with a 1-1/4″ round keyed output shaft. Shift type is wire/cable mechanical. Twenty-seven output options are available across the 489 Series, including Chelsea’s 360-degree rotatable flange with a greaseable shaft to reduce pump shaft spline fretting and corrosion.
