Description
The Chelsea 680 Series Power Take-Off Assembly, part number 680XQAHX-P5XD or 680XQAHXP5XD, is a medium- to heavy-duty PTO built for 8-bolt transmission apertures on Eaton/Fuller, Volvo/Mack, and other compatible transmissions. Shift is wire/cable mechanical. The 1-1/4″ round output shaft with key delivers 56+ HP and is rated at an intermittent torque of up to 375 lb-ft (check application pages for actual torque ratings for your specific installation). Shaft power output is 36 HP at 500 RPM, 71 HP at 1000 RPM, and 107 HP at 1500 RPM. The deep mount housing option makes this unit well suited to Mack transmission applications, and the cast iron housing with tapered cone bearings on the output shaft supports demanding cycles including pneumatic blower service. The Chelsea 680 Series PTO features a cast iron housing with tapered cone bearings on the output shaft for high load capacity. The input shaft also uses tapered bearings rather than needle bearings for greater durability under load. Continuous operation is supported with a 30% de-rating applied.
