Description
The Chelsea 871 Series Power Take-Off, part number 871XGFJP-B5RK or 871XGFJPB5RK, is a 10-bolt PowerShift (hydraulic shift) PTO designed for Allison transmissions. The 871 Series carries a continuous torque rating up to 670 lb-ft (908 N-m) with no derating required for continuous duty applications. Nine speed ratios and thirteen output options give installers wide flexibility across fire and rescue, truck crane, pumper cleaner, and refuse truck applications. A ductile iron bearing cap, rated 117% stronger than gray iron, and an O-ring sealing configuration between the housing and bearing cap address vibration caused by modern engine designs. Additional Information
The Chelsea 871 Series is the only Chelsea PTO to offer all three of the brand’s high-demand options in a single unit: Wet Spline pump flange, SmartStart (reduces shock load at start-up), and Quiet Gear. Electronic Overspeed Control (EOC) is also available to protect driven equipment. The 871 Series supersedes the Chelsea 870 Series.
